This is our stories:
Megan- True friendship isn’t about being inseparable, it’s being separated and nothing changes- Unknown.
That is me and my bestie. We were inseparable in high school but somewhere between school and the real world life got in the way. We don’t spend nearly as much time together now but that hasn’t hindered our friendship, we always pick up right back where we left off 🙂 Here is a little about me; I work full time, go to school full time, and am a single (in a matter of speaking) mother of 2. My boyfriend (Nate) and I have lived together for almost 7 years but are not hitched and don’t plan to be. We have a beautiful but frustrating little girl who just turned 4 on September 13th 2013. We also have a newbie that is 6 months old. His name is Ryder and he is a spitting image of his daddy. I work full time as an administrative assistant at a college but would really like to work for myself. I am going to school full time. I have a degree in business administration but went back to college for anthropology which I am now regretting most days. My kiddos keep me EXTREMELY busy. My daughter not only fights going to sleep she wakes up in the middle of the night at least 3 times a week which makes for one tired mama. I had Ryder sleeping through the night before returning to work from maternity leave but since I have been back he gets up to nurse at night as well. Let’s just say most nights our bed is awfully cozy! Aside from being sleep deprived my life is pretty good but it’s always better when my best friend and I get together.
Brit- Friendship is a lot more rare than love because there is nothing in it for anyone – Are You Here.
It is hard to find someone in this world that will stick by you through it all and not judge you, much less someone that jump whole-heartedly into those mistakes with you time and time again. We’ve been through it all and somehow we always come out smelling like roses. If it weren’t for my hair-brain friends I would not have made nearly as many mistakes, but I also wouldn’t have had nearly as much fun! I keep people in my life that keep life interesting. My life is full, my life is happy. I have 4 incredible children; Zakariah, Dominic, Ryann, and baby Kenley. They are each amazing in their own way…watching them grow and change every day is such an amazing thing. I am a retail store manager and my husband works in retail sales so I don’t have time to waste on people that are fake. Anytime we have free we love to spend it with our kids, but I always make sure I can spare time for girls night out with my bestie. Though not through blood my best friends are family ( and little known to them, we have betrothed my youngest daughter and Megan’s son so that we will be family someday 😉 )
